Born in South Bend, Indiana, Brian was raised on a healthy dose of Studebaker automobiles and pride in Notre Dame (for you fans of the Fighting Irish), where he gained a deep respect for our Nations Airmen. Notably, and rightfully so, his Father who flew the well known B-17 Bomber lovingly referred to as A Bit O’ Lace which flew 83 missions while she was attached to the 709th Bomb Squadron, 447th Bomb Group (Heavy) out of RAF Rattlesden England during World War II.
Brian bought his first .22 from E.J. Griffiths in the mid-ninties and quit that "awful game called Golf " around the year 2000 when he started shooting Sporting Clays. He hasn't looked back, nor missed the irons since; though he is quick to note he "stinks at both of them".
As an NRA Range Safety Officer, NRA Shotgun Instructor, NRA Level 1 Shotgun Coach and 4H Rifle advisor, is well qualified for the position and a valuable member of the Associations Directorship. Joe volunteers at NRA High Power matches at Camp Perry and endevored to host fun, friendly competitive events at SABRES with the goal of giving every shooter the opportunity to learn, improve, and perform well on the range. His interests include high power rifle using the M1 Garand, pistol, trap, and smallbore at SABRES in addition to Kendo (aka: beating people with a stick) and ballroom dancing.

Tom joined Lima SABRES as an annual member in 1996. In February 2011 he was approached to be our Legislative Director, whereupon he accepted the position. In July that same year, he was asked to fill the position of Building and Grounds Director and was duly elected to the position in 2012. Under Tom's leadership, Lima SABRES has seen significant progress to improve both Safety and the 'Shooting Experience' for all Lima SABRES members utilizing both hired and volunteer help.He is often found juggling a multitude of the, all too often, 'Thankless', tasks around the club, in addition to assisting with M.P.P.C, and the other events offered at the facility. He enjoys shooting rimfire rifle, handguns and shotguns, has assissted with the Junior Smallbore Pogram on numerous occasions and desires to learn High-Power Rifle one day.
Sheri is married to Shotgun Director Don Juan Markely.
